Way to heaven

If yes, what would you say to God if he asks you why should I welcome you in?

After reading the following, you will be able to give the correct answer. The Greatest Gift ever provided, available to you, is the only way to enter into Heaven and spend eternity with Him.

• First we must look at the problem of sin, in Romans 3:23 it says: "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." 

Have you told a lie or stolen something?  The Bible would say this is sin. Please refer to Genesis chapters 1, 2 and 3.

• There is a penalty for our sins and these sins separate us from a Holy God.  In Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death"  This means that we will spend eternity in hell.

• God made a provision for this terrible penalty through his son Jesus Christ.  He came to this earth as a baby, died on the cross,  paid the penalty for our sins and rose again. He offers us a free gift of eternal life to spend eternity with him.

Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us"

Ephesians 2:8,9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God; not as a result of works, that no one should boast"

John 14:6 "Jesus said to him 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through me' "

• If you want to accept this gift of eternal life, God has made a provision for this free gift and it is available for you.  You can accept this tremendous gift by an act of faith, by placing your trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

Romans 10: 9,10 "That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart of man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation"

John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I say unto you, he who hears My word, and believes him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life"

Now is the time to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.  Would you like to accept this free gift of eternal life? If the answer is Yes - here is a suggested prayer.

Dear Lord, I know I have done wrong and have sinned against you.  I want to turn from my sin and place my trust, by faith, in Jesus Christ, right now.  Thank you for dying for my sins.  I want you to come into my life and make me the person you want me to be.

What happened if you prayed to God for this gift?  

I John 5:11,12 "And the witness is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.    He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life"

What now?  Tell someone that you have trusted Christ as your Savior and Lord.  Visit a good   Bible teaching church.  Read your Bible; possibly starting with the Gospel of John.  Pray and tell the good news about Jesus Christ to your friends and relatives.
