Ask the Lord to help you find a good Bible teaching church. This church should believe the following.
- 2 Timothy 3:15-17 The Bible is the inerrant, infallible, verbally inspired Word of God.
- Colossians 1:18, Ephesians 5:23b The church is the "body of Christ" and is composed of those who have placed their trust by faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Matthew 28:19 There is one God eternally existing in 3 persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Genesis 1:1-31 God the Father is the author of creation.
- I Corinthians 15:1-10, Matthew 1:18 Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God who came to earth as a baby, conceived by the Holy Spirit as God and man, and came to pay for our sins. He died on the cross, was buried and rose again on the third day.
- John 14:16,17 The Holy Spirit is eternal and co-equal with the Father and Son. He convicts the world of sins. He abides in the believer and gives each believer gifts to use in ministry.
- Romans 3:23 The condition of man.
- Romans 5:8 Man is sinful and can only come to Christ by repenting and turning from sin and placing trust by faith in Him.
- Ephesians 2:8,9 Salvation only comes through the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is available by grace and not by works.
My prayer is that you will find a church that teaches the truth from God's Holy Word and accepts you as a fellow believer.
